It was the year 2010 and I had decided I would because I'd absolutely WOULD cosplay and be the greatest champion the world had known yaddayadda
By this time I was asking around the internet for cosplay suggestions that would go with my face and body type. I was deeply convinced that it would be the right thing to cosplay EVERYTHING that was suggested to me, which had some dire consequences after.

For this first "official" cosplay I bought and altered some clothes, with my very moderate sewing abilities (which were nule at the time, I basically taped everything together with hem tape). I also did something that nowadays is FORBIDDEN. Yes, I did blackface. At this time, we absolutely did not know it was not allowed, we never thought POC would be offended by it and nobody in Europe had ever heard of a ministrel show. We actually thought POC would be glad we tried to paint ourselves in their fashion, how silly were we.

The event I visited with this costume was Cosplay Photoshoot and I did not have much fun. I had forced my friend's child to dress up as Pokémon (a Blaziken), the kid was really uncomfortable and cried. I went to take pictures with my colleagues from the theater group, and they turned out beautiful. But I was sad that nobody talked to me and that I did not talk to anybody. I was very inspired to see a Maetel cosplayer, but nothing much more.

Then, as I was leaving, a girl asked me for a picture! *｡٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧*｡ happyhappyhappyhappy

My colleagues were nice enough to take pictures with various cameras, a digital and an analogic one. The weather was not very good for photos, but it was my first time posing, I was really proud of how they came out. I was considered very hot and sexy at this time of my life. One guy once told me he fapped to this pictures (?) Proceed with caution.

And this was my very first official cosplay. As you see, there are not very good memories associated to it, but I WOULD NOT QUITE FML OMG
